The Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium mission is to ignite curiosity and wonder about the universe in which we live, all while connecting us to our natural world under the sky we share. For that reason the Planetarium decided to install a solar system trail. Being part of the School District of Waukesha, ­the seventh largest school district in Wisconsin serving over 12,000 students, the newly installed ‘Purple Planetary Pathway’ will serve the schools of the region and also families and other groups visiting the planetarium and the local nature center.
